It is critical that this step is completed prior to cleaning the bamboo floor and should be completed as soon as possible after the bamboo floor has been installed. We recommend using a professional contractor to apply the seal to the bamboo flooring.

  • Use a microfiber dust mop for this procedure. Dust mop the bamboo floor to remove surface dust and loose debris and discard in trash. Remove gum and other debris adhered to the floor with a Blunt Plastic Scraper. Do Not over scrape or apply to much pressure. Doing so may damage the finish coating of the floor. An untreated dust mop can also be used but a microfiber dry mop is the best way to remove loose debris from bamboo floors.
  • Remove black marks and scuffs with light duty white pad or tennis ball.
  • Clean individual spots and stains by spot damp mopping with a microfiber flat mop as soon as possible. Allow to dry thoroughly. Use a quality Hardwood and/or Bamboo Floor Cleaner according to label directions.
